What is EFT you may ask? There are many sceptics out there who don’t understand how the technique works and ridicule it as new age ‘hocus pocus’; however EFT is based on the energy system of acupuncture meridians discovered over 5,000 years ago by the Chinese. One of the main components of EFT is the gentle tapping on those same energy lines used in acupuncture and acupressure but the bonus is – no needles!

EFT was developed by Gary Craig in the 1990s based on his study of work done by Roger Callahan in Thought Field Therapy (TFT). TFT was one of the first methods in what is now called Energy Psychology. As Gary Craig realised the potential of this approach, he worked to refine and simplify the techniques while maintaining positive, measurable results: an evidence-based methodology.

EFT can bring relief from physical symptoms of stress as well as freedom from the power of negative thoughts and limiting beliefs related to any specific issues addressed.

It has been successfully used to treat people with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and victims of sexual abuse, but it can also be used to combat those self-limiting beliefs that are preventing you from manifesting your greatest desires.

Free yourself from unwanted negative emotions and release habitual fear, anger, frustration, self-doubt and even feelings of being unworthy. In our professional lives, EFT can help us to become energised to work with greater clarity and confidence.
