“We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.”

Unfortunately in this day and age, women still remain under-represented in management and leadership positions and continue to face obstacles as they try to climb the leadership ladder.

Unconscious biases are often shaped over many years through education, culture, and experience and we need to make a conscious effort to identify and recognise these biases.

Let’s work together to improve workplace gender equality in 2021. Take the #choosetochallenge pledge.

If you are a women in a leadership role, be an advocate for other women and help to mentor them. We can change the conversation.

At BC Training we can deliver training on Unconscious Bias and help leaders and managers to educate their teams on their biases and the way their behaviour alters in response to cues that they may not have consciously realised.
