WEF 2017 – Q & A with Nidhika Bahl
As you all know our MD, Brenda Cuby spent a week at the Women Economic Forum Conference. It is a 6 day annual event which speakers from all around the world are invited to speak. Brenda spoke about collaborative training, which as we all know is her passion and she was awarded an award for being an Iconic Woman Creating a Better World for All.
Having met so many inspirational women from over 100 countries, Brenda has reached out to them to answer a few questions, today we hear from Nidhika Bahl.
1 Who are you and what do you do? – She often says, “Life is too short to keep hitting the snooze button!” As a certified coach and motivational speaker, Nidhika’s mission is to help you awaken to the possibilities in your personal and professional lives!”Whether working one-on-one or with an entire organisation, she helps people create the shifts necessary for positive change, getting them into action to achieve personal excellence in all areas of their life!
2 Tell us more about your WEF 2017 experience? – It was so wonderful to see women from across the globe sharing their experiences on the game of life and inspiring each other with their journey. It was overwhelming to see 2000 delegates from 67 countries, all speaking the same language of gender equality, self leadership, emotional mastery and personal mastery. Irrespective of our professions and profile there was an unspoken soulful connection of sisterhood between us that no amount of words can explain. The experience was enriching and uplifting at many levels. I feel grateful to be part of such a beautiful forum and I am truly grateful to Dr. Harbeen for conceiving WEF and making it happen year on year. Truly a world class platform for women to connect with each other.
3 If you could choose one out of all your defining memories from WEF, what would it be? – When I finished sharing my story of fighting and surviving severe clinical depression on Day 2, I had so many women line up to tell me that they felt so inspired just listening to me. Tears of joy swelled up in my eyes and I felt a sense of peace, calm and fulfilment that I have never experienced before. I am so grateful for everyone who came to encourage me and reaffirm to me that I am walking the right path.
4 What plans do you have for the rest of 2017? – The biggest thing for me that’s coming up immediately is my Book’s Release: ‘The Queen Of The Comeback’ and with that the multi-city launch of my Signature Workshops under the banner of The Game Of Life™. I am looking forward to a year of serving my fellow human beings to the best go my abilities and more.
